“How did I win this game, you ask? The question should be: How did I survive this game AND manage to score, not one, but TWO TDs?

I'd no clue what I was signing up for when I challenged a Khemri team. I'd never even heard of them! As I browsed their starting eleven it dawned on me that this would be one rough game of Blood Bowl.
Pretty much the first thing that happens after I kick off, is my troll getting a fistfull of anger from a mummy, and fails to reincarnate. Not good for moral. After that it was just pure mayhem.
My players bounced off the unbreakable wall of walking band aid. Fortunally my opponent made a slight tactical mistake and opened up his defenses for a well aimed blitz at their ball carrier. As soon as I got my hands on the ball I ran like a Skaven towards the endzone. Leaving the undeads behind.
By the start of the second half, I had 6 or 7 players left. I recieved the kick and thought to myself, "there's no way I'm gonna survive this...". I figured I'd go for a draw, by holding on to the ball as long as possible and staying way clear of the mummies. I quickly posted a man-man defense on all his "runners", while retreating with my thrower.
Now where did that second TD come from, you ask?
Well having established my man-man defense, with my few remaining players, I realised I had one little bugger left: A snot picking goblin. I quickly sent him upfield. The Khemri paid no attention to the tiny, harmless goblin, and continued thier (successful) slaughter of my players. With only two players standing, I threw a Hail Mary Pass all across the field, aiming in the vicinity of my young goblin brat. It bounced and bounced... And landed in the endzone. Believe you me, the Khemri freaked and ran towards my tiny green fighter as fast as their britle legs would carry them, but alas, they came to late. Young Smitty trotted into the endzone and made the second TD.

At the kick-off after the second TD I was lucky enough to get a blitz. Did I use it to kick my opponent's ass (With my remaining 6 players)? No, I ran like crazy!!! At this point my opponent made his second mistake of the game. He tried to run after me with a mummy - and tripped! Imagine a poor old mummy surrounded by orcs. I formed a circle around him and knocked his ass out! I got sent off as, but it was worth it!

After this, I actually managed to get my ass-kicking together and sent a couple of more of his players out. He never got close to my endzone!!!

I left the game without my best player. Bazzoka Kimmy will be sorely missed. R.I.P.”
