#5 Bound by the Bucket – Dead (RIP)
#9 Morbid Prescience – Dead (RIP)
Well, the spark is back! Nothing like a humiliation in the previous game to get the lads firing.

The lads ran rampant in a first half, sending skelly bones flying in all directions. The Schengen Zoners copped it hard, but they also gave too many frenzy opportunities to the rabid duo - Golgothic Anomisity.

1-0 at the half, but despite showing the bones that a bit of flesh doesn't go astray in the first half, the Zoners came out with a full contingent ready to rumble at the start of the second. It was at this point the elves upped the anti and decided that they should also start going out in style like proper seekers should. First play of the second half, Morbid Prescience (on scrimmage duty) got pounded good and proper by his mummy. As the apoth came running out, Morbid made the inspired choice to go down in defiance rather than limping along with a few hundred or so stitches. With his final effort, he flung the apothecary into the crowd rather than receive such debilitating (to his pride at least) attention. It was a beautiful tackle. Then he breathed his last.

Moments later, Bound by the Bucket was mesmired by the vision of a pair of snake eyes as he bit the dust trying to play for position. As he went down, fresh with Morbid's heroics running around his head, he too chose an inspired exit rather than risking a possibly humiliating niggle. It wasn't pretty, but it had style.

And so the game went on....the elves were caught for a moment in no-elves land. They couldn't risk pushing hard, as stylish as the exits were, they had to be back next game. But the Zoners overstretched and gave them an opportunity where holding back and driving slowly probably would have seen the Zoners home safe with a draw. One gets the feeling that Coach Miyuso could never tolerate the boredom of it all though...
