“An open game with surprisingly few casualties considering the 50+ TS difference. The main injuries coming from fouls while the ref was off the field. A first gamer lineman and a niggler star retired to the Raider history books can only make this team stronger in the long run.
The game was played in driving rain but that didn't stop Tunnels opening the scoring in the first turn. The Woodies hit back with their fans kidnapping the ref, before scoring 4 turns later. That just gave the ball back to Tunnels however, who waltzed over the line again once his teammates managed to pick up the ball in the wet. The Woodies managed to get over the line again to take it to 2-2 at halftime.
The second half was a long stallfest to a 3-2 win

3 votes: Toshiba - Had a day out with no ref.
2 votes: Cherry Bobbins - Important catch to score.
1 vote: GI Leafy - One of many good blockers, but was the hardest working.”
