“Despite finally getting a MB on the team, the Crushers couldn't manage a single cas vs. the Blue Guard. The Guard had no such problem though and got plenty (3) cas in this foul-free game.

Regardless, the Crushers had this game in hand, up 1-0 on turn 6 in the 2nd half with the ball in the hands of Bloodspill only a few squares from scoring when the HE Dauntless Dragon Warrior got a 1d block to knock the ball loose followed by an amazing series of Elf ball which allowed the Guard to tie it up.

In addition, the Sweltering Heat for the match hit the Crushers 4 times, the Guard none.

So, the Crushers were down players the whole match, were out-casualtied (by Elves!), out-lucked, and still managed to pull out a tie with no perm injuries. All in all, a marked improvement in my overall match outcomes (which ain't saying much!)”
