10th match vs Humans (Pandora's Black box): A nice matchup, and the morale (espacially the coach) was high. Finally playing against fellow humans. Too bad that the some players totally failed in this match. Our half started good, some rumbling for the advantage and some players on both sides got knocked out. Tides turned when Kees tried to 1d a non-blockplayer and got downed himself (with RR andwhen succeded, a quickpass, catch and 2 GFI would have made TD). Pandora's Black Box' players quickly took the advantage. And one lineman ended next to our, previously safe, thrower. Still the Alps were only a dodge, a quickpass, and 1 GFI away from a TD. Steffan failed the catch and disaster struck. One of their throwers picked up the ball, shortpassed it to the lineman which tried to stop Jaap, 0-1. Four Turns for an equalizer before the end of the half. A good kick by their skilled kicker (and an very fortunate bounce ofc) caused the Alps to be obligated to make a risky pass to ensure a good chance for the so badly needed TD. Jaap felt the pressure and failed to pick it up. Now the opponent's blitzers came rushing in and the attempt was in vain. End of the 1st half. With our drive gone morale was low. Couldnt the Alps play as they used to, was their training not sufficient? They started off with mixed feelings. Job was fatally injured by a dirty foul but the medics were able to patch him up. The Alps tried to separate the throwers from the rest of the team, but a good play ensured their advance. The Alps kind off gave up there. There just wasnt any chance of stopping the train from Pandora's Blakcbox with Henk and Klaas in the injury box so the Alps targeted their rage on the opponents players but none were injured, 0-2. The Alps were almost disintigrated by the shouts of their angry coach and were obligated to show better or they would have lost their jobs they thought. A good attack by the Alps followed, with a good pass from Jaap and an even better dodge by Virgil, 2-1. The honor was saved but the fans still whistled by the end. A shamefull loss. Harsh training will follow.

GG Janski.
