“This was the first match for the new ESM III team. Their predecessors ESM II having been dispanded due to getting slaughtered by a Woodelf team.
The match began allright with the Hornets thrower dying on the field. Unfortunately the revange was bloody. After suffering One niggling and one -1 AV I were considering conceding while I still had a team left. The hornets coach would have none of it and spured me to continue.
The very next block was a skull. a failed armour and one dead player.
There are times when the right thing to do is to quit and this was one of them. unfortunately it was to late to save the team.
As for me. I'm now coaching a dwarf team.

This was a game where the gloves were off... and the knuckle dusters were on! Two deaths in this game was bad enough, but the dark elf side also were subjected to some hard blocks which resulted in three other casualties.
Dave Nimbletoes crossed the line in the 1st half to make it 1-0, but the dark elf coach refused to see his side decimated any further and threw in a rather bloody towel.
The human fans loved the game, especially due to their heroes Paul Mason and Chris Longreach who made, what they considered to be very important contributions to the match.
Things look promising for the Hornets, although an advert has been placed in thelocal paper for a new thrower!”
