A very ugly match.

The Snow Whiters started in offence and got the ball to a Blodger after failing an AG5 Sure Hands pick up attempt.

The Dwarves had a horrid time for the first few turns (luck was 46 vs 67 or something like that) and they found themselves bogged down.

Eventually, the Superheroes managed a Pow on the Blodger and the ball came free.

Both teams fought for the ball but it was ugly with little working for either team and it fizzled into a 0-0 half with the Heroines with a pair of BH Block Beastmen.

In the second half, the heavens opened up and the Dwarves got a wide kick. The Heroines attempt to get the ball failed and the ball was pushed into the grandstands and thrown back into the middle of the pitch behind the Heroines LOS!

The Snow Whiters were able to get their AG5 Runner to the ball and throw it backwards to a Long Beard behind a screen!

The Heroines downed and fouled Sleazy (the AG5 Runner) causing a MNG and tried to pressure the ball carrier. It was 10 vs 9 (another Dwarf was KO from a foul) and it was game on!

The Heroines knocked the ball free eventually, but not before their Big Hand Beastman was badly hurt. However, the Heroines did not need a Big Hand as they picked up the ball and handed it off to a Chaos Warrior!

The Snow Whiters had to do several blocks to set up a 1 dice Blitz with Frenzy., Push, Push, last reroll and Pow the ball was free!

Both teams had players in position to score, but it proved to difficult for the Heroines who had taken too many casualties and the Snow Whiters had their only player who could have reached the End Zone before the final siren was downed just past the LOS on turn 15.

A frustrating but funny game at the same time. I could do nothing in the first half and Tex did a noob one dice block to start one turn but I was unable to punish him for it heh. I had a couple of 1 dice skull, reroll skulls to put me under pressure, but I BH one Beastman, used up Tex's apoth on T8, and then he gifted me with a second cas on a -2D block to try and chain push a Slayer out of bounds.

Second half the kick off scatter was cruel, right on the sideline in mud. I could have pushed a player OOB (and likely suffer the same fate the next turn) but chose instead to swing to the right and recover the ball.

However, once my AG5 Runner was injured, the only person who looked like scoring was Tex, but he tried hard not to by injuring his own Big Hand Beastman.

Anyways, it was a fun match and no permanents and a bit of cash and/or FF for us both.
