“The Amazons were challenged by the Kernal, a team blessed with multiple +Str (2 CWs, and a Beastman who also had AG4!).

The Amazons started in offence, and scored quickly as the Remanence players collapsed on them with their superior Str. The Amazons apothecary was used on the very first Chaos turn!

On the next drive, the Amazons' fans kiled the ref and the Amazons went about fouling to give them and on field advantage with a key BH and some KOs.

This gave the Amazons enough of an advantage to pressure and ultimately steal the ball and score for a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, it was the Remanence in offence. They played conservatively, keeping the ball back and advancing very slowly. With a couple of KOs and a cas, it was 9 vs 9 (due also to I Am the Greatest keeping out an awesome Amazons player).

Eventually, the Remanence strayed too close to the sidelines and a chain push and another push brought their STR4 AG4 Beastman with the ball onto the sideline. A -2D block brought up the pushes and the ball was sent back over the line of scrimmage.

The Amazons had a relatively easy chance of a 3-0 result, but instead tried to farm a pass for a rookie Lino and he failed the 3+ pickup with reroll.

A scary game with no apoth after the first turn, but I had the luck to ride out the remaining casualties. However, an unwanted MVP landed on my 75 SPP AG4 Dodge blitzer and she age niggled hehe.

Anyways, was a fun game that required a lot of thinking and my opponent was very sporting. Look forward to another match some time.”
