“Game 51 for the plucky gobbos sees us up against khemri, though luckily they have no tacklers and only 2 mummies with block, and we have Nobbla along for the fun. They get two handicaps: Morley's on two gobbos and ironman for their thro-ra.

They start well, putting two goblins in the BH box early on before badly hurting our block troll on turn 3. With a regen fail we decide to use our apo in the hope him being on the pitch saves more lives than holding onto the apo would have. The following turn Nobbla badly hurts himself trying to dodge... a terrible start for the brave goblins. They score on turn 4 and with 3 KOs and no wakeups + morleys we have to set up just 7 vs 11.

And immediately as we gang foul a mummy our only DP is sent off (eye was on khemri, of course). Despite having just 6 players vs a full team we're able to keep them from the ball and eventually run through near their endzone, and it's only double 1s on a GFI followed by a good foul by them that keeps us from scoring.

We set up 9 vs 11 for the 2nd half, trying to remove another mummy without any luck. They counter by badly hurting our +STR gobbo, and then on turn 2 KILLING Dat's Me - our only surviving founding team troll and holder of many blackbox gobbo records. Despite all this we've managed to get the ball through and near their endzone, but with nothing failing for them they are able to blitz around and badly hurt our ball carrier. They follow this up with a MNG on our 2nd troll (a regen, at last!) leaving us just 5 goblins on the pitch. At this point they finally get the ball, and slowly move it upfield as we fail to do anything helpful to slow them down, though they can't make the final handoff to score again.
