“We totally lucked this match. Started in offence and caused a heap of Cas and KOs, surfed a player and the ref was blind. A great result after facing a Perfect Defence.

My opponent had 9 players to respond on a 2 turn drive without any rerolls and was not successful.

In the second half, the Chaos started with 10, and got an early KO to level the numbers. The Cadavers fouled and fouled and could not get a player off for the first few turns as the Wound consolidated.

The Cadavers eventually got some players off the pitch, but were over-commited to one side and the Wound dodged through on the other with a Chaos Warrior holding the ball.

The Cadavers lucked a steal, with a 5+ Dodge (with Stand Firm) and 2 GFI to get an assist, and then their Blockless Wolf got a 1 dice Pow to knock the ball out of bounds, and it ended up in the Cadavers end zone.

The Wound could not reach, but were able to get a 2 dice blitz on the Cadavers Str4 Wight who recovered the ball (silly me left him next to his downed Guard CW who just stood up!) but the scatter was unfriendly for my opponent and the Cadavers were able to recover the ball and secure a victory.

To add further injury, the Wound failed their apoth roll on a niggled Beastman and then got another Beastman killed next turn.
