“Again, we missed a chance to gloat over our opponents fallen men. Our sole death came as M'goth picked up Hurinin and chucked him into the crowd, yes we were aimming for him to land on a ball carrier but he flapped his arms all wrong.
But having permanently injured a pair of zombies in the encounter while only sacraficing a gobbo to the bloodthirsty fans is definitely a good trade and one we will gladly make every chance we get. And we recieved more than enough gold to replace him and pay nobbla too. ”

After two losses it was good to get a win under the belt.
The Minions received first, and made a steady start, but the gobbo defence faltered a little with an early dice failure. This enabled the undead to advance down the flank without too much threat to the ball carrier. After 6 gobbos were KO'd, the little green ones decided to fight back SI-niggling (no regen) Spearman of Cardolan II, a loyal servant for 40 matches... destined now for retirement status. However Quick Sand IV held the ball tightly whilst the gobbo numbers dwindled... with Hurinin being thrown into the awaiting undead fans, and was subsequently torn apart. The undead scored in turn 8 with just 3 gobbos remaining. 1-0.
With just 3 KO'd gobbos left, 9 gobbos lined up for one last turn of hurt in the 1st half, and a gang foul on zombie Hemwin left him BH'd (no regen), and zombie Feverish Sweat II was SI'd -av (no regen). Regen just didn't want to know today!
The second half is a little vague to remember as there is no replay... must have been a disconnection.
However, Mildew Fungus III got his hands on the ball and managed to score as well with not too much in the way of notable injuries taking place.
