Battletech 3025 were in some trouble early, with their first foul getting their DP sent off. However we kept the ball relatively safe and were gifted with a self inflicted BH by the Chaemera who tried to dodge in on a Blitz with a Beastman (target roll was 5 or 6).

Aezeal then made the mistake again of leaving a player two from the sidelines (his DP) and I surfed him OOB for a long KO (he slept the rest of the game) after taking a push instead of a POW on the first block.

We got the ball deep and stalled out the half, though not before momentarily losing the ball with the Chaemera pulling off an amazing 3+ dodge, 2 dice blitz without Tackle on a Blodger to get a POW (11 in 36), causing a KO and picking up the ball!

With no RR left it took a goes but we got the ball back and got the late score.

Second half the Chaemera started in offence, and we applied the pressure, setting up a couple of hits on the ball carrier after his team got bogged on the LOS.

Eventually we knocked the ball loose and recovered it, but we rolled a 1 on a punt with a Dodger (shoulda held onto it!!!) and we weren't able to get the 2nd TD without the help of a RR or two.

Was a challenging match with Thunderbolt (Blodge Sidestep) being KO all match. Stupid niggler then got yet another MVP... Need to sack him once I get some more blodgers.

Forgot to mention, opponent did have one major piece of bad luck this game that might have gifted me the game,and that was the Niggle on his player in the first half with the apoth failing. If he had made the 2+, then it would have been even harder for me to score that TD and it would have been even more interesting in the second half if he had gotten the stop.”
