Deadliest Catch won the coin toss and chose to receive. The Lizardmen team, A-Z 2, started the game off with a Blitz! that threw a wrench into the High Elves offensive game plan. Ranfal was almost killed before the game even started and a Skink caught the ball. On the ensuing play the Skink was injured and the ball fumbled. The High Elves were finally able to recover the ball and Elbereth ran in the touchdown to end the first half.

A-Z 2 received and the ball was kicked deep. A Skink went to pick up the ball but dropped it into the end zone. He was able to pick it up on the next turn and run it forward. Elbereth had a clean shot at the ball carrier but managed to only push him (dodgepow/push, push,skull). The Skink, Albarich, must have had someone watching over him as another clean attempt to knock him down was evaded (dodgepow/skull, double skulls). Albarich was now deep into DC territory and for the last time he was hit. Finally he was brought down and the ball was fumbled. Khilial tried to recover the ball but it slipped out of his hands (snake eyes). All that was left was for Albarich to dodge away, grab the ball and go for it the last two yards for the game tying touchdown.

DC received and the ball landed right into Elbereth's hands at the line of scrimmage. The Wishmaster could not believe his luck the last several games and it is becoming really annoying. Misfortune kept striking away at the High Elves and even when all they needed was to push a Saurus that too ended in disaster. The Lizardmen took advantage and a Skink to Skink quick pass was attempted. The ball fumbled out of his hands to end the game a draw.
