“An enjoyable game. Both teams ended up short handed after not long with plaenty of claw action going on. The rats capitalised on a few failed pickups and a ropey dodge fail to get a quick opportunistic score in the second turn. The chaos boys started their second drive with a bit more panache and pushed deep into the rats half. A double down took out the rat ogre to the KO bin and set up a nice ruck in the middle of the pitch. The rats ended up with the ball again by turn 5 and broke the the flank but were cut off by the Chaos. a pass was thrown to the open beastman on turn 7 but was dropped. The rats picked up and flung the ball to the waiting gutter runner who also dropped the ball. A lot of tacklezones were placed on the runner who was unable to gather the ball so the half ended 1-0 to the rats

The rats began the second half heavily outnumbered but some over commitment of players o sack the ball carrier allowed the rats to sneak down the flank and score in turn 3 putting them 2-0 up.

The rats, outnumbered 10 to 7 set up deep in defence hoping to minimalise injuries and snatch the ball. Th achaos team punched the LOS guys and proceeded to push down the field on the right and left flanks. The rats countered and attempted to cover the far flank leaving the right exposed. A near full pitch run, pass, run, handoff, run, GFI TD! ensued putting the score at 2-1 at the end of chaos turn 4.

Still with 7 vs 10 the Rats again went for the quick score and got the ball to the try line with a lone gutter runner before he was flattened and stunned by a double beastman assault. Whilst the good fight was faught on the LOS the chaos team again tried to replicate its earlier scoring plan. A run, handoff, run, pass, failed catch! ended up with the ball deep in the Rats half with not many players nearby. Some excellent dodging got the rats back in possession but a ruck ensued and the ball bounced around after being knocked from a gutter runners hands. The chos team were finally able to capitalise and collect the ball to hand off to the waiting beastman who ran in the equaliser as the whistle blew.

An end to end game with honours even. Well played”
