“Our orcs face hadschendabbel's lizardmen who's TS is much lower than ours so we have the definite advantage despite giving away 2 handicaps. They get doom & gloom and 'it wasn't me' targeting our MB/tackle blitzer (much to their skink's relief!).

We kick and our first turn sees a rookie saurus niggled- using up their apo to save him! We then pile in with some serious block dice, KO'ing two players on turn 2 before badly hurting one saurus and MNGing another on turn 3 when we also steal the ball (after an unlucky both-down both-down blitz from their kroxi). On turn 4 we score without much trouble.

We kick and charge forwards, MNGing a skink with our MB blitzer and getting another blitzer next to the ball. But a superb turn from the lizards sees space created in our line in the middle, a pickup in a tackle zone, a dodge and hand-off to their +MA skink who runs right into our half. They have also burnt our apo saving a niggle on a black orc. We can blitz with a blitzer with one GFI but need our reroll to make it and then can't knock him over! We put a line orc on the other side of him to force two dodges and accept it's almost certainly going to be 1-1... but he trips over! It's our last turn so we go for the unlikely 3+ pickup and 5+ long pass to a lineorc near their endzone ... with no reroll... and it works! 2-0!

At this stage it's looking like game over for the lizards, but their team name IS "Never give Up!" so lets see what they can do as they kick with 8 vs 11. And indeed they are tenacious against the odds, getting 1d blitzes with skinks in improbable situations, but their bravery can't win the ball by itself and we push through to make it 3-0 on turn 7.
