Colorful Death won the coin toss and chose to receive. They proceeded to beat on Dwarven Honor. Despite the heavy Undead assault, Gilius was able to strip the ball loose. The fans threw it at midfield where a Ghoul recovered it and ran off for the touchdown on the sixth turn of the first half. Team Captain, Gotrek, was seriously injured in the first half by a foul that even the Apothecary couldn't heal. The Dwarves took a huge hit in their morale after the Troll Slayer was carried off. CD took advantage and kicked off with a Blitz! that almost had them scoring one more time before the break.

DH received in the second half but the Undead responded with a Perfect Defense. The Dwarven lines were put under heavy duress and it seemed like only a matter of time before their ball carrier would be eating dirt. Two Longbeards were sent to the grave but Gaven willed his team onwards. Some clutch dodges by the Dwarves had Gaven into the end zone to tie the game up wtih four turns left in regulation.

CD received for the last time and with only eight Dwarves left on defense. They moved the ball up field but Gilius was able to sack the ball carrier (2d their choice, pow & dodge/pow for a RIP). The agile Wight, Glowing Crimson, was smashed next to the sidelines and the ball was thrown right into Gaven's hands. It was all for naught, however, as Gaven was knocked down on the next turn and a Ghoul would run in the game winning touchdown. CD win the FUMBBL SMACK Sched PRO LXXIII Finals!

This is the Wishmaster's second tourney Minor Finals appearance and his team comes up short.
