“A bit of an easy game with the opposition heavily injured and short of players - which is never good for a low AV team. However even a two touchdown lead is never safe with gutter runners on the field, but fortunately some solid play from Andrew S, including a key interception on the second drive, kept us from ever losing control.

The one td against was a failed attempt to crowd-push, which lead to an unexpected turnover and a loose (although marked) ball that the gutter runners had no trouble putting into the endzone.

Twanhlows:
The first two have to go to the gutter runners, as there was almost nothing but unskilled linemen who did very little on the pitch otherwise. Angry Andrew missed the game through injury, and Gougin' Geff was taken out before he caused too much trouble.
3 Disco Dan - Dan was slightly more memorable. Although Damo got the td, Dan gather the ball and threw it, which was much more difficult work.
2 Dodgy Damo - Made a nuisance of himself. Also stripped the ball, which was the reason it was loose in the first place.
1 Tentacle Dave - for keeping two players on the pitch and effectively setting up the td. Also made the most blocks by more than double anyone else.”
