“What would probably be my last preparation game before the BB7 mini-leagues (mostly because they begin once the football game on TV is over).

I admit I was somewhat scared there, when I saw my opponent had a DP hidden between the branches of his 2 trees.

He got Touchback and gave it to his S6 tree. Luckily for me, when he received the kick he immediately got both-down with his S7 tree. I grabbed the opportunity and sent almost my whole team to gang foul his S6 tree, managing to waste his apo already. The ball went loose in the middle of the mob and we didn't really care about it for a while. We fouled each other a few turns in a row. On my 3rd try I killed his tree (!) and stunned the other with a blitz. In retailiation, his DP wasted my apo on a kill. A few turns later, a skink got ejected and a fling got SIed. I finally took the ball with a skink and fled to safety. I left the tree rotting in the center and surrounded the ball by the sidelines to protect it. The remaining flings came and one got killed by a skink. I scored in the last turn.

So starting 2d half, I had 3 saurus and 3 skinks, against the S7 tree and 2 flings (and another KO). He kicked. I avoided the tree and fled to the sidelines. He BHed himself on a -3DB on the ball carrier. Amazingly, you may notice the skink Ivan has 2 CAS. I decided against wasting my time clearing the pitch : I wanted to get SPs for the league that starts tonight. My saurus that has 4 SPs failed five attempts at getting the ball (all on 5+), so in the last turn I used the nearest skink to go score instead. No skill for the saurus today.

Definately not what I was expecting, but it was fun nonetheless. Though I do feel bad for my opponent who had to retire his team after this.”
