“SWL Season 34: Premier League - Game 2

Tomay speaks the truth, but it was still a half decent game, despite the 2 succesful KO returns from 14 attempts.

The first half saw a pretty strong competition for the ball, with it bouncing repeatedly where we didnt want it to. We couldn't get it free to score, and the Zons made a meal of some favouring bounces. 0-0 at halftime, but a worrying amount of KOs.

We started the second half receiving the kick, but with only 7 players. No dramas! A quick play through Frentzen saw him downfield, evading tacklers, and opening the scoring. 1-0.
At this point, we were really hoping some of KO'd teammates might have come back to defend, but no luck. We made the best of it with the 6 players we had, but no dice. 1-1.
Now we really really needed a couple of men back(nope, not this game), because Tomay had already been burnt by an understrength Vermin lineup earlier, and this time he didn't make any mistakes covering the field. We coughed it up, they ran it downfield, and that was the end of game two - 2-1.
