We kick and they run the ball forwards with one of their two extra arms backfield beastmen while we pile around to try and stop them. T2 and they drop the handoff and have burnt up their only reroll so we pile in players to pressure the ball, but they clear space nicely and hand it off on T4 to take the lead.

They have also BH'd a lineman so we're now down to 11 players as we receive the kick in a sudden downpour of rain. We move the ball down one side while their super mino (+STR and claws) KILLS our snow troll- fortunately the apo can patch him up! The next turn one of our +AGI linemen fails a 3+ dodge -AV injuring himself!

Meanwhile at least we have got the ball to beside their endzone in some safety, and manage to make it 1-1 just before half time.

We have 10 with our KO returning and they have 11 with 2/3 of theirs waking up, while we immediately lose our DP to the ref on T1, and both teams suffer a KO. We are somewhat surrounded, but find a way to dash through their ranks on T3. They need to GFI to get a beastman back, and he trips up and only their apo's intervention prevents his death! We score on T4 to make it 2-1.

We kick in the rain, and the ball lands in their super-mino's hands on the LOS (a 10+ catch!!). He pushes our snow troll backwards, who then 2d blocks him for a both-down, KO'ing the mino. They recover with an extra arms beasty and run for our end zone, but a superb T7 from us lets us _just_ manage a double GFI 1d frenzy blitz that tosses him out of bounds! And the crowd is on our side, throwing the ball way down into their half, where they cannot get it forwards in time.
