“Weird friendly for the Titans and one that showed just how rusty they are after their season break.

Aberdoom started the match and were in control early until a mistake by Sir Alex allowed the Titans though, who went on to score for 1-0 through Loius Saha. Aberdoom replied quickly looking more like Elves than Chaos Dwarves, bring the game back to 1-1. Titans still had time to chance another score, but a pitch invasion put pay to that idea.

The second half saw the the Titans kick off but Aberdoom were already in their half! (Blitz). The Titans managed to get hold of the loose ball, but with little between him and the goal Saha failed to collect the pass. Aberdoom recovered somewhat but the Titans still had chances, but Dempsey showed how out of form he really is (snaked GFI). Aberdoom went on to score for 1-2 leaving the Titans trailing.

There was still yet more chances for the Titans to score, but first Dempsey failed to collect a pass with the goal line beckoning, then Saha failed to make the pass, either of which would have allowed Fulham to come away with the draw, but it was not to be.

The good news is (well, we think it's good news) everyone made it through the game and hopefully the friendly has shaken off a few cobwebs before Fulham begin life in League One, because if they carry on like this, their visit there will be very short lived.
