“I needed to play as soft a team as possible to get back some confidence in my woodies after 6 games full of death, damage and defeats! These lads have struggled to field a full team for their first 5 games but with confidence and bravado i accepted a game offer against flings...i'll cream them early on and then run rings around them... HA! I forgot the curse this team has been stricken with,obviously as punishment for taking the elven god as their name!

A BH fling and a KO in the first turn was a fantastic start...however not a single injury followed and only 5 KO's more, disasterous considering the amount of blocks i made! Even worse is the freakin' super flings caused 3 BH's within 2 turns to triple my injury count! Embarrassing!

Totally lacking any confidence with the pointy eared gits, i played a very caged game and wore down the flings to score on the last turn of each half, my tactics of bashing and stalling obviously not making my opponent happy as he didn't respond to my attempts to chat, nor any congrats for td's or goodbye at the end... or maybe thats just him...

Fantastic win for the lads and confidence is back in the boys!”
