“Fun game for me, I sensed it was a frustrating game for poor Tarabaralla. He won the toss and elected to receive (I would have done the same). He did an excellent job of being patient and protecting the ball. I never really got anywhere close to it. He scored a lot of KOs, and I contributed to my own player reduction by having 2 lineman get tossed for fouls. So I wasn't surprised when he scored in T8. However, things started turning on my last turn of the half, as I badly hurt a skink. This saw both teams coming into the 2nd half with 10. I was able to move my Kick Returner under the kick and start the half with the ball in my posession. Somewhere around this time, my norse swapped armor with the sauruses. The Krox was the first victim and got KO'd. Then I SI'd a Saurus, but Tarabaralla used an apo to save him. I got 2 more KOs but lost the ball when a sneaky Saurus managed to land a 1-die blitz on the ball-carrier. It took some positioning and some luck, but I got it back and was able to score on T8. Neither coach had any rerolls at this point, but the last kickoff of the game gave CBF an extra reroll and the ball in a skink's waiting hands! I was nervous that he might be able to pull off a 1 turn score with his Sprint/Sure Footed skink, but fortunately for me my Ulfwerener on the LOS knew how to take a dive instead of allowing himself to be pushed around. Then to add insult to injury, the Krox double-skulled the last block of the game.

Thanks for a funny game, Tarabaralla. Too bad about the loss of FF. I thought the spectators were enjoying the game. At least we both got good money.”
