Coach Robsson heaved a huge sigh of relief.
“Well, at least it was quick.”
“Owned,” muttered Ride the Wild Surf. “Totally owned.”
Balboa Blue shook his head.
“That big one was was kinda rough, eh?”
The others nodded. Most of them had found themselves underneath him at one point or another during the game.
“And those little ones were kinda fast.”
“You got that right.”
Coach Robsson heaved a huge of disappointment.
“And it looks like we’ll be without our passing game for our next match.”
“Again.”
Surfers Stomp shrugged.
“Least it meat I got to do something for once.”
The others nodded. There was that.
“More shark biscuits for next time then, huh?”
“Guess so.”
Coach Robsson heaved a huge sigh of frustration.
“It never quite works out the way I think it will.”
“Best laid plans…”
Surfer Girl laughed.
“…of mice and men. Ha! Mice, geddit?”
“Girl, you are such a nerd.”
“Well, it takes on to know the rest of you aren’t.”
“Whatever.”
