SirOrange and I always have fun games and this was no different. There seems to be a bug in the client because I was 50 TV down but got no inducement options. We even asked Kryten to reset the game for us but no dice. I decided to play it anyway, and then file the bug report so they can fix it.

Anywho, Nuffle decided that since I couldn't buy an inducement he would let us play the first half in the rain and grant me a Blitz! because I opted to kick. This was better than any Bloodweiser Babe could have been and the Tussenvoegsels were very grateful. Van Grateful you might say :) Some good blocks for me and some poor dice for the unfortunate elves resulted in me getting the ball early and caging up. Although the Rattlers kept a lot of pressure on me, he never got the ball back. He did however put enough pressure that I used all my rerolls and decided to score on T7 rather than risk a -2d Blitz on the ballcarrier in his T8. I also thought all his hard work deserved some recognition. The weather did change on the kick off, but his dice didn't. His AG 5 Line elf muffed the pickup attempt. I got a few blocks and the half ended. His KO rolls were nothing to write home about either (0 out of 2 twice). 2nd half I received and decided to get cute. Jacobus scored the first TD so Jean-Claude decided to help his fellow Pestigor out with a handoff for an easy second score. Ha! Jacobus said he didn't need any handouts or handoffs and flung the ball to the ground. Fortunately his teammates were all nearby and immeadiately threatened to sell him to a glue factory if he didn't immeadiately pick that ball up next turn. They fended off the elves (not really Fended, just fended) and Jacobus got the message loud and clear. Unfortunately, so did the Rattlers, and they made multiple attempts to dislodge the ball, finally doing so when Jacobus ran for daylight and thought he was home free. Andros said, 'Not so fast my pestulent adversary' and 1-die blitzed his smelly carcass horns-first into the pitch. Then he stood over Jacobus laughing as he scooped up the ball. Unfortunately for Andros, the last laugh was on Jean-Claude Van Damme who had had just about enough of Jacobus' bungling. Van Damme blitzed Andros into the pitch, stunning him (or maybe it was a KO can't remember now) and scooped up the ball. He decided to show Jacobus and young Albert how it was done. The elves rallied, trying several times to escape the sticky tentacles of Dick Van Dyke (a feat they had been trying all game with only a few successes) but Melvin finally succeeded and raced straight for Jean-Claude. However, Jean-Claude went airborne on the unfortunate Dragon Warrior and gave him a good boot to the head. However, Clan Van was so impressed that they went straight for the TD with no blocks thrown out of respect. Also, because there was a Dragon Warrior laying on the ground next to my ballcarrier :) The last kick off didn't improve the elves' luck nor their KO rolls, though they did get a pass off and a blitz in. Although he tried hard all game, at my request, to kill Ohter Phrog, the Phrog proved too resilient to be taken out. I may have to put him on the LOS to see if he can earn a permanent place on the team. Game ended with only Tharton nursing any permanent damage from an early Smashed Ankle.

Thanks for the fun game, SirOrange. Good luck with your team, and I look forward to our next match. And your inevitable revenge.
