“Game 5:

Our team was obviously not prepared for this game - as we slept walked through the first half. We received the ball - but our blocks were ineffective...our fouls were ineffective...our dodges all failed. It was a disaster. At halftime, it was time for an impassioned speech with words that can not be repeated. Already William Study had been killed and it served as a wake-up call for our team.

The second half, we stole the ball - but an amazing sequence by Michigan (4+ dodge, 6+ catch, 3+ dodge) reclaimed the ball - but we were relentless...taking back the ball and Boy Sue blitzed, picked up the ball and raced in for the score with still just under a quarter to play.

On the final drive, we expected Michigan to drive strong and try to score...instead they ran and COWERED in the corner of their endzone!! We charged in, but a POW and stun on our blodger meant it was up to a single knocked down lineman...but we never give up and leaping to his feet Boy Sue smacked down the ballcarrier on a -2d block and dodged and gfi into the endzone...sadly the crowd tossed the ball to midfield...another dodge and last ditch long bomb to Boy Sue was fumbled sadly...so Michigan got their draw...but we would not be surprised if there is some discussion of their cowardly tactics!

Alas, the game does show the weakness of the Yale Bulldogs...with weak armor, and a faulty apothecary, we are now down 2 blitzers for an upcoming critical stretch!

Good game...looking forward to a rematch! ”
