#2 Anika the Unyielding – Dead (RIP)
#4 Anne the Crusher – Broken Jaw (MNG)
A very sad game. The humans got extremely lucky. They were focused on getting the CAS, so they RR'ed their blocks to get CAS then just hopped for luck on the rest. It worked...we were up 1-0, and they had the ball - ballcarrier all by himself. Instead of blitzing off the guy marking him, they blitz someone else...RR the pushes. Then they dodges ballcarrier (3+ no RR now) away, run up and do a 5+ pass, over one of my players and to a catcher that was marked...well gratz on the TD...but super luck to pull that off - and not saving the RR for the dodge was just bloodlust over trying to win.

His luck continued with 1d blocks with no RRs left (because he wasted them all) for POWs and CAS on my blodgers. Then late in the game, he is focused on CAS still, so we move in for the score. He has no RR, but does a 5+ and 3+ dodge and 2 gfi to get a 1d block - which he POWs my blodger and the ball bounces out of bounds and is tossed all the way up the field.

Classic game of a player intent on damage and carnage who only wins when lucky. Also whined and did not stick around after the game. Probably one of the less fun games I have had in weeks.

#4 Robert B. – Broken Ribs (MNG)
Interesting game. Lots of things going on.

1st, my opponent, who is a very good player looking at not just this record, but his over all record, had a strategy that I have not seen much. Basically get all of his players around my guys..I've not seen so many 3db's in a game before (against my st 3 players as well as the catchers).. He tightly grouped up almost the entire game. He has a fouling strategy as well, and with fouls, got thrown out once (another time was avoided with a bribe from the ref)..conversely, I threw 4 fouls and got thrown out twice (the 1st 2).

1st turn, KO, BH, and a stun (along with a knockdown) left me with few players.
Despite this, we went back and forth for a bit, before he finally scored on turn 8. I got a couple off the pitch on my turn 8...but he had more reserves.

so, 2nd half it was my 9 vs his 11. 1st turn for both players saw no knock downs despite many blocks. My 2nd turn, I risked a dodge (3+) long pass (avoid int 5-) 5+(with pass), 4+ catch (with catch) in tz, 3+ dodge (with dodge) to score the TD.. didn't have a RR for the 1st dodge.

I'd gotten some knock downs so now it was 8 vs 10 for this kickoff.. and soon my ogre was KO'd as well. So, men down, and losing them steadily..I get to a point where I decide to not fight his TD much, but to pick off any stragglers. Well, 3 blocks (with a RR) later, I've killed her. Turn advances a bit, and I make a weak attempt to slow Azure down...when he says:

<Azure> you are getting some lucky dice at times

I've got 10 players out.(4 KO, 3BH, 1 SI, 2 Banned) .he has 5 (1KO, BH,SI,Ki, banned)..I've got 3 players on the pitch to his 7ish...but yea, I have had some lucky dice..but so has he..and we'd both had some unlucky dice. Nothing really out of the ordinary going on...baffled me why he made the comment about the dice, when he had the obvious upper hand.

Of course, then I pull off an amazing play to prove I had lucky dice..2 dodges (5+, 3+) 2 gfi to 1db his ball carrier..all with no rr..POW. ball gets thrown around a bit and ends up at mid field. My thrower fails to pick it up, and he has a chance to score still..but fails the pass/handoff.

It was a very good game, and I might have learned something about positioning--tho in my experience, bunching up like that does not work well for me.

From the 1st turn of the game, I was down players on the pitch. I RRd blocks that I wanted that player prone or that would faild (causing me a turnover), yes.

I wasn't the bloothirsty foul every other turn player..(see above number of fouls..and 2 of mine were single fouls when I had the bribe just to take a chance to keep your piling on player on the ground).

when did I whine? I was baffled at your comment about luck...well, this game I had to play with luck some..as from the 1st turn of the game, I was down at least 2 players on you...I didn't have the option of 2db's after a while, tho I tried to do the 1db's against players that didn't have block when I did, or with my Tackle player (the one that hit your blodger, btw)..and at that point, it was the only thing I could do to stop the TD.

I was not the one that brought up the dice..but I'm the whiner?

I rarely see the point of sticking around after the game..it's over, I want to manage my team and/or get ready for the next draw.

LOL..for me it was a great fun game, very challenging and as I said, you used tactics I had not seen much of lately (and that don't work for me), but seem to work for you.

lol..i'm bloodthristy, but you did a foul every other turn..lol that is the best comment yet.
