“WIL Grand Tournament, Semi-Final

Two Dwarven teams faced off in the semi, with Dark isle driving first. As expected the game became a huge melee, but it was the Miners that were being carried from the field. There were chances to dislodge the ball, but Dark Isle were able to recover to make it 0-1 at the break.

After the break the miners were driving, but this time they decided their main hope lay with the DP who was able to slay one of the Dark Isle, but was sent off shortly thereafter. Eventually the lack of number meant the Miners were under pressure, but they scored in turn 6 to bring the score to 1-1.

The Miners were expecting a stand off until extra-time, but a sneaky elves play by Dark Isle saw the ball thrown and swiftly followed up by a break down the Miners flanks, from which they could not recover, as Dark isle went on to score for 1-2 and take their place in the final.
