Exciting game from start to finish. Wood Elves usually give me problems when I'm playing my humans, and this game was no exception. Back and forth action, where the dice tipped things heavily, but relatively evenly too. In other words, we both had great dice moments and critical faels! We both made mistakes and both executed some nice plays. In the end, I feel it was my tough defense in the first half that made the difference, and unfortunately for AceFlashheart that was when his dice were letting him down horribly. I know this feeling, playing with AG 4 teams only to spend all your rerolls on easy 2+ rolls or fixing double skulls on blocks. I went from elation to depression to utter terror as the whole game came down to Ace's T7 and my T8. Ace had stolen the ball from me again on a nice play with his AG5 Catcher (I knew I shoulda fouled that bugger when I had him on the ground) and was within easy scoring range. The Bulldog Outlaw freed Crusher to put a 2 die blitz on Memory of Earth (AG 5 Catcher) and I needed open Stars. I got em and a good bounce. Then Comet pushed a Wardancer out of interception range and Druck scooped up the ball and took off. Needing only 1 GFI to get within a 3+ range (I love Accurate) he got it and nailed the pass. Petrify Sapp made the catch easily and raced into the endzone for the hu-Maniax last drive and go ahead score. I'm just glad the final Kickoff result wasn't a riot. Ace ended the game with a few blocks and a successful pass from Sea Cradle (who almost botched it) to skill up and end the game. Money wasn't bad, and I'm glad he didn't lose FF either, since we both gave the crowd a great show.

Great game, AceFlashheart. As I told you afterwards, it's the most fun I've had when I thought I was going to lose in a while. Easily could have been your victory out there, which made it exciting and rewarding. Hope to face you again.

Skills (3):
Patrick 'Petrify' Sapp - (6 1) Guard. Normally I'd pair Tackle with Mighty Blow, but this team has had trouble keeping Guard players alive and I'm seriously lacking in it. Tackle will help get the occassional CAS all by itself, especially against AV 7 victims.
Charles 'ChronicY2K1' Jordan - (6 4) +MA. OMG! My 2nd star player ever in FFB and he adds +MA to +AG. I hope this guy lives long enough to see a 6th skill and become my first Legend ever.
Leonta 'Ripper' Rheams - (1 4) Wrestle. Since he's going to continue serving on the LOS with D.J. Fresh, it makes sense to get some more Wrestle cause it can be so disrupting and annoying.

Just an insane game. Crazy play and dice from both sides. By turn 15 everything was still to play for, and although it was a loss for my elves, it was such an entertaining game I just can't feel bad.

Well played to my opponent, hopefully we will play again at some point.
