#1 Trixter – Damaged Back (NI)
#4 Vanger – Dead (RIP)
#5 Randall – Dead (RIP)
One of the most boring matches I've played so far.
I won't blame Iskabis for it - I guess he had a lot of fun, which is fine.

When I saw the match up I already thought: "This is going to be a boooring match...". Just because games vs Dwarves are always lame to play.

After turn 3 in first half I lost the fun of the match totally.
Was down several players very early and the Chainsaw kept fouling like no tomorrow without getting spotted by the Ref all half long.
Just fits to the game that my 1st foul was spotted later.

Absolutely nothing worked the whole match long.
Not the importent GFI to (maybe) stop his 1st TD;
not the final 3+ pass to have a very good chance for the tie;
not the Apo, which thought Trixter should better be dead as getting a Niggler;
not the 1-Turner attemp, which failed at 1st block (that is okay; I had no RR left);
not the armor, which broke unbelievable often (MB or not, didn't matter)
not even 3d block, which ended the 1st half;
not even the winning roll for some cash after losing 250k on players.

I don't think lopsided matches like this are much fun for anyone. Markusen is clearly the better coach, and I wasn't playing especially well, even for me. But it hardly mattered when every other block I threw broke his armor.

This is my first (and likely only) time playing dwarves, and so far I've generally tried to not do slow grinding cages or excessive stalling. That said, I did end up stalling the first half of this game since I didn't want to lose the chainsaw; I figured I'd just foul with him 'til he was caught, and then score. And that led to the niggle on Markusen's best player and foul after foul with the chainsaw never getting caught until the half finally ended. That certainly didn't help the fun factor.

Anyway, Markusen was utterly nuffled in this game. Hopefully we'll meet again someday when I'm not playing a dwarf team and the dice are a bit more even.
