The score is a lot more lopsided than the game really was. At the beginning of turn 8 in the first half the score was tied 1-1 with the ball loose in midfield and both teams set up to score. If my frogs hadn't managed the TD, the elves surely would have. Going into the second half up 2-1 gave my frogs the push they needed to succeed at all their leaps and knock the ball loose 5 or 6 times. Sometimes the ball would bounce right to another waiting elf, other times a frog would swoop in to grab it and run/chuck it downfield for a TD.
Towards the end there was a massive, bench-clearing brawl in the middle of the pitch as almost every player stood or lay prone in 2-3 tackle zones. Not what you'd expect with a slann-elf matchup, but fun all the same.

Thanks for the game, good luck in the box.”
