Dice were on our side in this one, with the Popes losing elfs all game long, and never really having the numbers to threaten once the deadites had eaten a few of them.
We even had the luxury of scoring with Violet (a noob zombie) in T16 for the winner, facing a max of 3 elfs in OT if we screwed it up. Violet was up the the task and skills up (Block) and is promoted to LOS duty. Lucky zombie.
