The match lived up to expectations, with the Orcs coming out firing, inspired perhaps by the squealing rin nin nin nin, of Ugroth Bolgrot's insidious chainsaw, which was whirring uncomfortable close to their backs. Defence was the order of the day as both scores in the 1-1 draw where recovered.
Big hitting played the pivotal role and players left the field on a regular basis. With such an attrition rate the LHC where unable to establish the dominance required to line up the big hits, as most of the collisions were opportunistic, albeit effective.
Our beards are bristling at the disappointment, and anger will be unleashed at our next outing, a soft target, let's just remember the ball though.

However an inspired Alice who was patched up by the apoth during half time re-entered the field causing cas and KOs amongst the orc ranks and suddenly the orcs found themselves out numbered. A double skull blitz to free the ball carrier left him exposed and the CDs were able to turnover the ball. Successive failures to dodge and blitz followed by more KOs allowed the CDs to stall out comfortably for the draw.
Our first game Barre and a lot of fun, great fight back in the 2nd half as i thought i might have been able to hold on to the lead. Good luck for the rest of the season mate.
3pts - Alice - her claw + mb did so much damage throughout the game and the stats does not show the amount of KOs she also achieved.
