“GLT VII Maintournament Game 1

It started off with swealtering heat that did close to nothing until OT where the ag5-witch and some off the dressers were exhausted. I decided to go for the wiz instead of paying 210 k for the saw and a bribe. I like the decision even more after the game.

First half:
Due to maintenance the game was shut down a couple of times in the start. This lead to a pretty lively discussion between the two coaches, and we had different views how to solve a turn that wasnt saved. It was my bad from the start, I should had pressed turn, instead I didnt on purpose so we wouldnt have problems with the clock in rafa´s following turn. However, back to the game. The girls hit hard from beginning to end basically, and that was a gamewinner. I didnt put too much effort into stopping the darkies-TD once it was getting closer to my zone. Instead I focused on reducing the elves, since they were only 12 from the start and this was their biggest weakness in my opinion. Luckily the tactic kind of worked, leaving 10 darkies for...

2nd half:
After 3 turns there were only 6 elves left and when I scored in turn 16 they were down to 4. Rafa tried an impressive attempt to oneturn with 6 elves but lacked one player. So 1-1 at full time.

OT:
The crowd got upset, threw a rock and hit the darkie that was supposed to pickup the kickoff. Suddenly 5 darkies recieved and went down one side. One los-elf went for the pass, but snaked on the gfi before the pass. That decided the game. I should had used the wiz at the start of the following turn to minimize the darkies standing close to the ball, but did it after I picked the ball up. Rafa had one last shot with some dodges and needed a pow but all that came out was a push. I guess it would had been tricky to steal the ball anyway from my girls at that point, unless some magic dices would had shown up.
