“finally got paired up with Chuck versus Bloodbowl,
speccing these guys was one of the main reasons i wanted a bunch of killer chaos to win games with.
match was awesome, its unusual to find a box opponent who is wants or is able to go toe to toe with my clawpombers and i'm used to having to chase players but with all the guard RandomOracle was able to stand his ground against me and force me into trying to cope without my usual block po repeat strategy.

the game itself was really tense i won the kick and was looking forward to removing the los and slide into a 8 turn stall..
perfect D put pay to that, had to work hard to make some 2 dice blocks and rode luck on some 1 dice blocks but left more players in contact than i would have liked and ended up having to just screen the ball with some cws while i used the potential ballcarrier to assist.
having got some ko I was feeling good about recovering the ball and stalling however some great work from Ro's star ball carrying beastmen stole the ball and ran in for the score halfway through 1st half.
second attempt for a score saw me struggle to free the ball due to his good positioning and my depseration to gangfoul one of his killers off the park.
i do tend to struggle in scoring quickly with my guys. and in fact i had left an oppurtunity for randomoracle to score a second however having done all the hard work the final gfi let him down.

second half 1-0 down and facing RandomOracles killers set up quite deep which i've found to be a good tactic when facing monsters, since it kinda forces your opponent to come to you. was risky since i was already 1-0 down and opponent could have just stayed in his own half but if that happens you can always regroup
however random oracle charged into my half and although i couldn't stop the score did manage to thinthe numbers. 2-0 down but with time still ont the clock and a numbers advantage had to play risky to score quick and leave enough time for an equaliser. managed to do this with some monstrous luck.
also managed to get rid of a couple of players on the way.
by this point had a definite numbers advanatage and still had 3 turns to force an equaliser. was expecting a punt upfield but instead RandomOracle calmly picked up the ball and caged deep in his own half. took out some more players on my way but at turn 8 was faced with a very tricky problem to even get to the ball carrier who was caged right in the corner.
thought i saw a way to create a chain push to surf the ball carrier and made a suicidal run through tackle zones to get there which worked.
however when i tried the surf all i actually manged was to surf my own player.
felt a bit foolish but was fun trying anyhow.

was a really fun game and with all the killers on the pitch was pretty tense. luckily for me didn't end up regretting apothing the first badly hurt on my only tackler. but it could have been painful.

i feel like i learned a few new things and will have to practice for the next time we play. at the 2200tv range its inevitable.
