“A rough start to the season - our TV drops from 2050 to 1400...wonder if we can go back to preseason and get some more builders :)
Overall, game was a blowout to start with. We lost 4 players in the first turn. Apoth failing on our blitzer. We managed to surf several dark elves - including their only tackler - but it did not matter as our gutter runners were 2d POWed for a RIP and then 1d POW for KO on our ballcarrier. We continued to fight and managed to take down a few elves - they scored their 2nd and 3rd TD without RRs - either time a failure would mean our gutter runners having a shot at the ball and pass upfield - sadly the Dark Elves did not fail today.
Looking forward to journeymen and stars on our side for a while now :)”

Getting rid of the Searats' only tackler early on was key and getting a couple of gutters out helped as well. After that it was a matter of putting points on the board since the Searats' had little to retaliate with.
Loosing Terrelda Owens and Merton Hanks was unfortunate but my main regret is that I didn't get to kill the damn beast Stacey Andrews.
For the record: The 666ers had two tacklers though one was killed. The second and third TD was scored with one reroll remaining as the final reroll was used when Steve Young dodged out of a TZ and in for the TD.”
