“Grindy, ugly, bloody. Exciting first half, but Malmir was anxious for it to end by the time it was done. Finally, the Wildsquigz' kill-squad performs. The first ten turns are nailbiting excitement, the last six a horrid grind. Good game if you're a fan of slasher films.

Malmir's a great coach and a good sport. Films lost because they got gobsmacked by the Guard Machine, and for no other reason. This game could have gone the other way, too.

One thing I noticed is that Malmir's the first coach I've faced in quite awhile who didn't waste time looking at 1/2-die blocks. Well, a little. But it felt like a football game until the bodies piled too high.”
