“Game 4 (Final) of the RRR.

In the first half Brewers Inc received. I blitzed and managed to get a catcher under the ball. Unfortunately it was immediately taken back by the dwarfs on their first turn. We tried to keep up the pressure on the runner, deep in his own half, but Brewers managed to grind out an 8 turn TD, KO-ing 4 zons and BH another on the way.

Luckily the Budweiser Babe (Bloke?) did her job and I could field a full team in the second half. I scored a 4 turn TD after pulling the defence across the field and then outmanuevering it. Brewers had 5 turns to score a winning TD, but a set of double skulls at an inopportune moment turned their careful grind into a much looser running play.

We capitalised on a lucky 1 dice block which freed the ball and scored on our T8, leaving Brewers a turn to equalise. The kick-off result was a quick snap, and some chain-pushes got a runner 4 squares into my half, unfortunately one short for a OTS.

Final score, 2-1 to the Panthers. I've played, enjoyed, and won my first tournament.
