#4 Ziggy – Smashed Hand (MNG)
I really can't resist commenting this back.

quote: "another game lost thanks to wiz. Also had some bad luck."

I'd like to bring up few points about the match.
1) You implied during game my 1-0 TD was because of your bad luck with eject opening clear route for me. Fouling eject before you stand up your players is not bad luck, it's bad play.

2) Your equalizer in T8 needed 2+ (gfi) 5+ (hand off in 2 tz's) 4+ 3+ (dodges) 2+ (gfi). That is less than 8% chance of success (not including RR, it raises it a bit). Still you pull it off and claim you were unlucky?

3) In 2nd half you failed to make any progress, and I was able to force your BC backwards, where my wiz bolted him and I got ss blodge ghoul on ball. You effectively failed to protect the ball and the goblin. The wiz didn't steal your win, you were pretty much just struggling and trying to prevent my from winning even if it was your offensive drive.

4) On T13, you made 2+ (gfi) 3+ (dodge) 2+ (gfi) 2d blitz (both down, no effect), 3+ (dodge) 4+ (pick up on tz). After that you did yet another 3+ dodge which failed with RR and lost the ball again. And you saw this as very unlucky.
I saw it as greedy, you were fortunate to get the ball and the last dodge was pretty much pointless.

My TD was denied by failed 3+ pick up after I 2d blitzed my ghoul off from your tackle.

5) ON T14, you did 2+ (dodge) 3+ (pick on on tz with ag 4) 2+ (dodge) 2+ (failed intercept) 3+ (inaccurate pass). And again you seemed to think it was unlucky the pass was only inaccurate and not accurate. This prevented my from almost certain score.

6) Regular time ended on 1-1. And you won coin toss in OT, which was quite uneventful. Notice how this was your 3rd offensive drive versus mine 1. You lost the ball from failed dodge, which you saw again as very unlucky. But you fail to see you survived from 2 blitz attempts on BC, and also you failed to even notice how you dodged him away from dt zombie a turn earlier just fine.

So after this long post, I try to summarize this all.
You scored with 8% chance, you had total of 16 turns in 2nd half and OT to win the game, and you failed to make any progress on field letting my sack your BC both times in backfield.

Dude you were god damn lucky to even get to the OT. From these events my 2-0 win was a reality and you failed to create even one decent scoring chance despite 3 attempts.
But hey, you can blame it on bad luck and how wiz ruined it for you :)
But could you please tone down the amount of whining during game if we ever meet again? Thanks buddy.

#1 Horror – Serious Concussion (-AV)
another game lost thanks to wiz. Also had some bad luck.

---------
update:

1) Never said that your 1-0 td was because of me having bad luck. I clearly said it was because I used so many players to foul ramtut which opened up a clear path for you. In other words it was pretty bad play from my side.

2) I had sure feet on one of those GFIs so the chance was not less than 8%, it was 9%. I also had a re-roll so the actual chance was 24%. I also had the chance to TTM my gobbo instead for a much easier goal but failed Always Hungry. So I actually had two different tries to score in the same turn. The chance of scoring with TTM with pro, a re-roll and sure feet was about 45%. So the actual chance was 45% PLUS an extra chance of either 9% or 24% (depending on if I had my re-roll left or not after the first try) if I failed the first try either because of really stupid OR always hungry but managed to wriggle free OR fumbled the pass but managed to land.

That is a lot more than 8%.

Also you cannot just look at one turn when deciding if someone was lucky or not to two-turn-score. You have to look at both turns. And if I hadnt rolled snake eyes on my first sprint turn 7 it would have been much easier for me to score.

3) The wiz didnt necessarily steal my win since there is always a chance I could have failed to score even without it. But since I manage to score on most of my offenses, especially when I have the better team, the chance for that is pretty small. But the wiz was the actual thing that stopped me in the actual game and thats why I mentioned it in my match report.

And yes, I struggled to prevent you from scoring on my offense, but that was only thanks to the wiz. Also if I hadnt failed to blitz down your ghoul with a rr and tackle the turn before you used the wiz you wouldnt even had gotten that opportunity in the first place. However Im sure you would have gotten other good opportunities later to use the wiz.

4) Because it WAS unlucky. I just needed +2(gfi) to get the ball marked with one player, managed that. Then I needed +2(gfi),+3(dodge) and a two dice pushback to get a second marker on the ball, failed that. The blitz also gave me a chance to knock your ghoul down with tackle and perhaps even stun him which alone would have solved much of the problem, failed that. Then I needed +3(dodge) to mark the ball with another player and managed to do that dodge. Also since I had movement left I tried to pick up the ball as a bonus. Managed that. Now since I had my re-roll left and still movement I think it was worth it to make a 8/9 dodge to make it much harder for you to blitz down my ballcarrier next turn and scoring in the same round which you could have done if you had blitzed with your st4 zombie. That dodge failed and with a bad scatter I lost every marker I had on the ball. So in the end, I failed everything I tried to do that turn. I didnt even succeed marking the ball with the first guy who just needed +2(gfi). The probability of that happening was minimal. The succeding on my rolls actually only worked to your advantage thanks to that failed last dodge with a rr (which was worth doing) and that bad scatter. It isnt luck to succeed with many rolls if they doesnt mean anything in the end. Say its your last turn of the half and you need +6 +6 +6 +6 +6 and +2 to score and you manage everything except that last +2. Then that isnt more lucky than just failing the first +6.

That failed +3 pick up that you did the turn after was of course very bad luck if you just look at that specifik event. However, it would have been harder if I hadnt been so unlucky when I tried to mark the ball. It would also have been harder if I hadnt failed to make that important 2-dice-blitz with rr against your ghoul turn 3 which gave you this opportunity in the first place. It would also have been harder if my goblin hadnt been injured when you used the wizard on him. And also if my troll hadnt failed really stupid with pro the turn after you had used the wiz when I really needed him to mark your players. And also it would have been harder if you didnt roll such a high percentage of pows during that half.

5) Nope, didnt say that.

6) I had enormously bad luck in the OT. The reason I lost it was me rolling double skulls with my troll (who had both block and pro) which caused a casulty on him and a turn over. After that you could just block down everything I had with your 3 mummies and your number advantage. With all my players being down you could just run through with your fast players and mark the ballcarrier and stuff. It was pretty much over for me by then and I could do nothing. I couldnt even pass since all my blitzers were blocked down after that turn over, plus my only re-roll was used after first dodge with the ballcarrier (+2) after he was marked. You had 0 re-rolls and much less block, I had 1 re-roll and still it was me who had to roll double skulls on my blocks. And it wasnt an unimportant double skull either, It was the reason I lost the game. The only reason I wouldnt call the OT a dice rape was because I won the coin toss. Because if you had won the cointoss instead, its a pretty big chance I still would have lost the game.

Looking at number of blocks with mb, ordinary blocks, armor, regeneration, fouls and chance of being ejected etc you managed to remove more than twice as much player from my team as you normally should have (yes also with help of throw a rock and stuff even though I had more fame... but how my players are removed doesnt matter, its still lucky to get them removed). That gave me a number disadvantage during the game and made everything much harder for my team. Me on the other hand removed only about the normal number of your players. If my players had been removed at normal rate instead or if your players had been removed at double rate like mine then things would have changed and perhaps I would have won second half or OT.

And sry for the whining, ill try not to do it next time.
