“This one was a tough one where we finished very bloodied and suffered more 1s than I would like but we did just enough when it was really needed to win.
We had a touchback so started off looking for quick td, but a covering GR failed his gfi with rr so Skeetz Nool was left exposed in the middle. He went down to a blitz and we could never quite get it back. Our first 4 turns were attrocious including a smashed hip to Skratz despite the apos poor attempt to help. But as the Khemri spread turn Zloos Tharlo had his chance and stripped the ball. The ball was lost again but not picked by a skele so in turn 6 we managed to pickup and handoff to a 2nd GR who got it well away. A relieved turn 8 score. Next half we did a short kick and the Khemri grinded very slowly forward. Hugruck managed to kill a tomb guardian and after a few turns our hassle of their cage looked to be phasing them. But in turn 4 a thrower was killed, Ritz Ditz was injured and Talus was badly hurt. We started to crumble and threat Zloos was stunned in a gang foul. But as time ran down the ball carrier ran out and was exposed to a blitz from Skeetz. With a reroll he got the crucial pows and then stood up to the revenge attempt. So we just scraped away with victory despite some very hairy moments. ”
