“my dice stayed hot, as carry over from my game against Jiger. The boots were sharp and the ref was blind. The first 5 turns went swimmingly... and then instead of a proper seal, i left anna a blitz opportunity. which pushed me into the endzone and gave Chuck a chance to score. Which he did... of course... well Anna did.
and so despite my best efforts, it was 1-1 at the half with me only up 1 player (though admittedly RO had to use a lot of chafe).
RO's first turn did not produce a single cas, and left 1 CPOMB player open, and I managed to capitalize.
Still, i played overly agressive defense and Anna managed to get the ball to st5 Sarah Walker IX and almost got completely behind me, despite me being up 3 players at the time. But i was able to blitz back and eventually a very nice through in from the fans saw the ball tossed back to where i had the best shot at it.
Came out of it unscathed and ready for the next round.
Pretty lucky all in all really.

After 17 wins in a row, I was due an unluckier game or two. I still had some chances in this one, with the game tied 1-1 at half time and only down one player, but my inability to cause damage got the better of the team. On the positive side, it's nice to go back to normal Blackbox games with the team significantly lighter now.
