“Having a few bad dice games recently but here it was exaggerated by the ridiculously high standard of several of the players against us. Very frustrating not to get a td at some point. We had a few tries with various trips letting us down. My nemesis gfi again. A blitz kickoff when the Elves were down to 8 players spoiled things a bit. Otherwise a good chance to get to just 2-1 down with players up, but instead went down to 3-0. A drop in turn 8 of the first half was also disappointing.
The Elves were leaping round a lot and we couldn't get many down though late in the match when the play was lost we did finally cause some damage, including Dwight Wight breaking Sagonar's neck and so giving us a "fresh" recruit.”
