#1 Hexoatl – Dead (RIP)
Tonights match featured the undefeated Hammer Angels and the Unvictorious Quetzovercoatl Athletic.
The game was played in perfect blood bowl weather for which the spectators surely happy.
1st Half saw the Quetzovercoatl Athletic Slann team recieve the ball, and after quickly running away from the lizards they charged down the flank with the ball in hand. The quick feet of the skinks quickly knocked the ball loose. They didn't count on the quick hands a bouncy feet of the Slann Catcher Hexoatl (may he rest in pieces) who scooped the ball up in several tackle zones and leaped in for a 2 turn touch down.
Now the Hammer angels got the ball on their hands, and while the skinks moved up the field with the ball the saurii were busy cracking frog heads and feeding froglegs to the crowd who loved it so much that when Hexoatl the scoring frog catcher was served they ate him raw!!! Several other Frogs were either knocked out or injuried doing this 1st half drive. Thorbjørn the Saurus marked himself out by gathering 2 casulties, bringing his season total to 4 already! At the end of the half the skink Natalie ran in the touchdown and became much more skilled from its efforts.
2nd half the hammer angels ran a standard 8 turn cage grind down the field while knocking down frogs left and right. Especially their Krox at alot of fun when he practiced his new skill Piling on. It did earn him another cas, bringing him to 3 cas for the season. At the end of the half the Hammer coach got cooky and tried to hand the ball of to a saurus, but it failed and for a while the ball was free and bouncing around the corner of the pitch. However, in the end a frog player fumbled the ball into the hands of Christian who quickly ran in his 3rd TD of the season! Very impressive for a Saurus.
