“Episode 6 - Quixotic League vs. Mooks

Having failed 2 straight missions against the Circle of Thorns, and the 5th Column, the Quixotes were itching to dispense some justice. They got a call at the base from one of Dr. EMP's contacts that some Mooks were causing trouble at a nightclub. It happened to be Steele Magnolia's favorite club, Paragon Dance Club. So the League saddled up and headed over to Skyway City to deal with the disturbance and maybe get a night of dancing in afterwards. The Mooks were ready for the team when they arrived, one of their minions spotting them at the Metro station and sending word. But the League expected some resistance and spread out into a defensive formation, attempting to corral the smaller minions and contain the larger ones. The plan worked as one of the big Mooks attempted to toss a smaller Mook over the heads of the League and instead sent him crashing into the ground. Perfected Weapon quickly grabbed some of the stolen loot and secured it in the vaults, but not before Dr. EMP was sent back to the base Autodoc. It was early in the battle and Captain Kinetix opted not to use the team's Awaken. The Mooks rallied and prepared to take the battle to the Quixotes and try to get away with some loot. Once again, the League executed a contain defensive pattern and Perfected Weapon recovered more loot and secured it by halftime of the mission. The second half so the use of 5 Break Frees (KO rolls), but only 2 worked. Even though the League was using the Large ones (2 Babes)! Der Richtor was able to get some loot and made a quick toss to Perfected Weapon to secure it. Then the Mooks got mad and started removing Quixotes from the club. Perfected Weapon made some executed some dodgy maneuvers but couldn't shake the remaining large Mooks (all the small ones had been dealt with by now). Then the Quixotes made a tactical error and left PW in an unsupported position out in the open. A Mook came over, clubbed him unconscious, and another reacquired the stolen goods. The League made a few attempts to try and get the loot back but couldn't do it with the members remaining in the club. Mooks managed to escape with some loot as the mission timer expired but overall it was a victory for the Quixotic League and the citizens of Paragon City. Many Mooks were arrested and sent to the Ziggurat and the team got a well earned night of dancing and mingling with their fans in Paragon City Dance Club.

Dr. EMP will rejoin the team soon, after some time to recover from his injuries. As for the Mooks, well, they learned that Steele Magnolia ain't no fragile flower. Don't mess with her dance club, cause girls just wanna have fun!

Speaking of moves, Perfected Weapon upgraded to Super Speed (+MA) and Der Richtor upgraded to Unyeilding (Block). The team also welcomes a new member, Strings the Controller. The Gravity Master is also adept and creating Force Fields for his teammates. We look forward to seeing what he can do on the next mission.”
