Thanks to some lousy KO rolls for the woodies, I was not only able to secure the 2-1 grind victory but also a pitch clear in about Turn 5 of the 2nd half. Sadly, the Great Old Ones do not know how to smile. So we made a dagger instead. To represent the dagger in the heart of team Bash me. And Azathoth even took in the winning score. Always fun when Warriors can get a TD. The Wardancer never did come back and I was able to stack the LOS (mostly) for the final kickoff. Tentacles and Disturbing Presence pretty much guaranteed there would not be a OTTD.

A good victory for me, as I normally struggle against Wood Elves. Collinisimo played a solid game, but he was fighting an uphill battle from very early on and my cage held strong. The wardancer did blitz the ball free once but I got a terrific bouncer and was able to get it back fairly easily. The SS Catcher was annoying, but so was the Guard one. Was glad to get them both off the pitch. Team Bash me will be a bit stronger in their next match getting some players back. Though they will be missing two new ones. Still, they should be better overall with two Wardancers.
