“Mostly fun game but I somewhat ruined it and stripped us of a great winning chance by somehow misclicking onto end turn instead of handoff when I just needed 2+ pickup and catch to go through a gap left to score in 2nd half turn 6. Doh!!!!!!! Quite gutting. Long game too.
First half we managed to go up the centre in a cage reasonably well and drag it out till a turn 7 td. The elves couldn't make the 2 turn return as my diving tackle GR Skeetz had just reached the ball carrier and was able to pull him down as he tried to dodge for a passing move.
2nd half the Elves got an equalizer in turn 3 and crucially badly hurt Skeetz Nool just before making it, with our apo used earlier. We then had 6 turns to play with. After our turn 4 Zloos was in a cage and it looked like we would have a good chance to score. We moved across in turn 5 but then a journeyman elf managed to bring Zloos down. With Wang leaving a gap Zloos just needed to pickup and handoff to let Skratz score. But alas I did a terrible misclick. Skratz picked up instead but was taken down as again we had to use wrestle. But at least we didn't concede. Other than that it was an interesting game.
