Nurgle set up to drive first and looking to bash some dwarves, but the first kick off shafts them pretty hard with a blitz! result and a short kick, which means their los blocks get denied and dwarves get a tacklezone on the ball with DT no less(blitzer failed to catch). They manage to move the ball to safety, but at the same time they are getting outbashed on the los because of guard. Coach Favalessa makes a nice attempt to punt the ball far and break free with a st4 pestigor, but he is swamped and the surprisingly fast dwarf blitzer collects the ball. However, just as the dwarves are walking the ball leisurely to a t8 score nurgle strike back with a vengeance. First a MNG strikes and apo is held back for worse to come, and then the ballcarrier smacks the superstar slayer with a nasty -av that the apo only tries to make even worse.

With the comeback casualties the nurgles chances looked a little better, but nuffle decides to throw another wrench in the works, and only one of their many KO's comes back and they start out 2 men down and defending. Dwarves lump them in another huge midfield pile with guards standing around, and hand off the ball to the blodge DT blitzer who scores on T16. The nurgles are clearly unhappy about the score and on the last turn their pestigor kills a one-skill dwarf who will be playing for them from here on. Next game will be a tough one with the dwarves suddenly fielding many rookies.”
