“The Skinks went into their historic 300th match without key saurus Sshrr but this was matched by the dwarves missing Blitzer Faoud bin Basir al Maktoum who had been responsible for 4 injured lizards in the previous matchup. Receiving the ball first, the dwarves moved into their usual 'Clage' formation rolling slowly but inevitably down the pitch towards the endzone and daring the lizards to stop them. The skinks did just that with the extremely unreliable Kroxigor Rrlld making one of his few key plays of the game to clear a path for Ktlld to bring down the ball carrier. The dwarves were unable to recover swiftly enough and the scores remained level at half time.
The skinks took the second half kickoff and drove for the upper sideline. Cut off by the dwarves they dropped back and then ran to the top again. With the dwarves scrambling to cover the lizards withdrew once again and made a switch to the lower half of the pitch. Some heavy late blocking by the dwarves made things close but Shcndsaeeyey was not to be denied and ran through a couple of attempted tackles to score the match winner.”

At dawn we met Coach Faulcon and his venerable Lizards and a'masha'allah he looked very old and weathered. We invited the old Coach into our Majlis in which we recited a few verses of the Q'raan al'humdila'allah and we prayed that our match would be worthy of the occaision of his 300th match.
At the rising of the sun and at the completion of the morning prayers, we met on the field and lined up in position.
The game was brutally tight and despite the big beastly Saurii were moved and shifted to allow the rolling cage a'masha'allah to grind to the endzone.
But with the line holding firm and our mighty longbeards seemingly having the measure of the devil-skins, their big Kroxigor actually picked one of the stout longbeards and passed him over the edge of the cage. In shock horror, the line was broken and the Bedouin's were not able to recover as star runner Hazem bin Khalifa al Nayan was stunned into submission and the half ended.
Regrouping, and with Abdul Nasser out for the match, we knew defence against the fast moving skinks would be difficult and despite valiant efforts we were unable to resist the side to side play of the skinks and they took the match.
At the end, we shook hands with our mighty adversary and wished them well for their next 300 games al'humdila'allah and that next time we will definately be helping ourselves to some skink-skin boots.
