“I've had some hard games against Srjuanone before, with nuffle not helping at all, so am relieved to get through almost unscathed and with a draw. Though we did have the odd little chance to take the win.
The match started with a riot from the frenzied fans. Skratz went back for the ball while Throatripper charged up the pitch with a blitz in his blinkered excitement. As we moved up we were looking at perhaps a turn 4 td but having to twice use rrs for foul appearance blocks meant I pulled back to halfway with Skratz and a couple of others with things looking very tricky. Skratz was taken down as he wrestled with a warrior and then again a turn later after Zloos snaked a well needed dodge. But Skratz sneaked through a gap on the flank into a cage. A beastman failed gfi left us with the space we needed though no chance for a stall. 1-0 and the Chaos had 2 turns left. We crowded their potential ball catchers but it was a double skull that let the foul Nurgle down.
Second half we had some hope to steal the ball but failed dodges and much improved Nurgle blocking sent Rats scattering off the pitch. We had 3 attempts to blitz their carrier but using rrs on gfis and dodges were our undoing. The turn 7 fail was a disappointing one and the Nurgle got their equalizer.
Just 1 turn was left to us and Throatripper again disappointed us despite the fans cheering us on to try a 1 turner. Good game. ”
