#8 Curufinwë Cúthalion – Damaged Back (NI)
#4 Fingolfin Eluchul – Fractured Skull (-AV)
Knowing that, for once, style and skill were not going to prove enough against the strong front line of the pact team, Chaos Theory Organization, the Elves of Lightning Strike from Shadows decided to embrace the darker side of their nature.

They would isolate and foul their opponents, winning through attrition and a show of strength!

This tactic would pay off when the pact team let their troll and ogre become separated from the team. For 6 turns, the 2 blockers were surrounded and pounded into the ground while their opponents cowered in fear near the end zone, obviously afraid to face the Elvish machine! Scoring only in the dying minutes of the half to hopefully stop the brutal display.

In the second half, the more graceful Elvish side emerged; ebbing and flowing like a river squeezing through gaps to penetrate the pact lines. The pact put up a dogged defense despite their larger teammates' apparent lack of spirit, intelligence and observation.

Lightning Strike from Shadows scored the equalizer, giving the pact precious little time to renew the offense. Sadly it proved to be not enough due to strong marking from the Strike and, yet again, less than stellar performance from their large players.

The Strike were finally able to purchase an apothecary to provide much needed assistance to the team.
